The Girls in STEM summer program is a week-long summer camp dedicated to promoting women in STEM. Prep students plan the activities and serve as camp counselors and teachers (assisted by faculty, of course). The camp will aim to expose girls to the variety of careers that they could pursue within STEM through interactive activities and lessons about the applications of the STEM. Each day of the week will be dedicated towards exploring science, technology, engineering, or math. The last day will consist of a summary and reflection about the girls’ experiences.
